Most clients of the Poultry Research & Innovation Centre BV have specific questions about how to prove the efficacy of their product. The PRIC offers specific consultancy to these clients. In cooperation with pharmaceutical, chemical en para pharmaceutical companies the PRIC has developed several experimental models to prove the efficacy of additives added to the feed or drinking water of poultry.
Additional to the monitoring of physiological, ethological and environmental parameters and performance data (like water and feed intake and growth) our research facility also provides extra laboratory examinations on blood, faeces, litter, etc. as well as post-mortem examinations in a necropsy room. The latter is being performed in the veterinary clinic of the “Healthcentre for Poultry BV”, which is situated besides the research facility.
